Beim Bohren mit Hartmetallkronen werden im Drehbohrverfahren alle auftretenden Probleme bewältigt. Härteres, quarzreiches Gestein wird mit Tieflochhämmern abgebohrt.

Rotary drilling with carbide drill bits deals effectively with all problems. Down-the-hole hammers are for drilling into harder high quartz rock.
