The HSB series - DTH drilling
The machines of the HAUSHERR HSB-series can be used in blast hole drilling and all areas of surface mining. They are especially suitable for down-the-hole drilling applications.
All models of this series are able to execute horizontal drilling operations (HSB 3000 model with restrictions).
As a standard the HSB 2000 is equipped with a slew ring which allows a positioning of the rig parallel to the quarry wall with safety clearance.
The model HSB 2000R has a double roll-over-system in the kinematics. Thus it is possible to drill in all directions at different angles. With the exception of the HSB 100 all machines carry an on-boardcompressor, a rod handling magazine and FOPS / ROPS cabin.
The rigs are powered by CATERPILLAR-diesel engines, with sufficient power reserve. All models within the HSB-series have oscillating tracks (inclination +/- 10°) which makes them suitable for all types of terrain.
